Welcome to EHFS
East Herts Footpath Society (EHFS) is an independent walking and campaigning group with a membership of nearly 200 households, mostly living in East Hertfordshire. It holds formal charitable status (Reg. Charity No. 1008960) and is affiliated to Ramblers and the Open Spaces Society. EHFS works for and assists in the preservation and enhancement of our network of public rights of way for the greater public benefit and enjoyment of the beauty of the countryside.
East Herts Footpath Society is your local, friendly recreational walking group. Walks are led by members all year round, whatever the weather. Our programme includes regular morning walks on Thursdays and Sundays, with shorter evening walks in the summer. We organise coach outings for long distance walks and hold several social events during the year. Membership is currently just £6 per household per year.
